Florida Backs Military By Expediting Concealed Carry Permits

Florida has been listening to it’s people’s outrage over Chattanooga, and now encourages military to get concealed carry permits faster

Concealed permits expedited in Millitary Safety Supporter Florida

“The men and women who serve and have served our country deserve all of the support we can provide,” Florida’s commissioner of agriculture Adam Putnam said. “We are pleased to expedite active military members and veterans’ applications for a concealed weapon license, and our partnership with tax collectors throughout the state will make this process even more convenient.”

In wake of the Chattanooga shooting, it looks like Florida’s been paying attention to public outcry. Florida officials have made it faster and more accommodating for its active duty military and veterans to obtain their concealed permits. It now only should take about 30 days compared to about 90.

What a step in the right direction. I’m sure citizens are pleased with the fact that their state listens to them. Florida is the number 1 state when it comes to concealed permits with 1.41 million issued, next is Pennsylvania and then Texas of course. They are making their voices be heard one step at a time. Who knows, maybe Florida is on it’s way to eliminating gun free zones.

Amped up citizens have recently been seen making plucky stands by standing outside and guarding gun-free zones with their own guns. This is such a pro-second amendment, stand-up-and-take-action stance that more of us need to have! But the Pentagon dissuades against it by saying it could “potentially create unintended security risks.”

What has the Pentagon been doing? Telling military members to not wear their uniform, improving video camera security so we can have a HD video of our military being gunned down, and shutting the blinds, so the bad guys won’t think anyone’s home… Oh and remember! They always want you to call local law enforcement.

“We continue to partner with and rely on first responders for the safety of the communities where our service members live and work,” Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook said, while adding that defense secretary Ash Carter is currently reviewing safety recommendations.

We all know how that goes. There’s someone coming to kill you with no regard for human life or mercy, so you call law enforcement. Law enforcement will be there in 6 minutes, the killer is right outside. Know your rights, protect yourself when no one else can, take a stand for our military who are discouraged from protecting themselves in their home country.
