Another Young “Hero” Shot During Ferguson Anniversary, After Looting TV And Shooting At Police

Media Is Turning Tyrone Harris Jr.’s Story Into Another Michael Brown Injustice Story

Despite his son’s troubled past, Tyrone Harris Sr. maintained a stubborn hope for his namesake. But on Sunday night, Tyrone Harris Jr. was hanging with the wrong crowd again, his relatives said.

As protesters descended on West Florissant Avenue to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of Michael Brown, Harris Jr., 18, was on the edges of the peaceful protest, accompanying a group trying to pawn off a looted flat-screen TV.

The complicated series of events that followed led to a fate for Harris that was eerily similar to that of his former high school schoolmate: shot by police, blood spilling from his shirt, lying in a street just a few blocks from the street where Brown, 18, died.

This article is so beyond news, it’s enraging, one sided and completely disregards the facts as nuisances. This was not a “peaceful protest” as the article says above, police got several reports of looting along that street, one of the stores had the cash register stolen, thrown in the street with all the money gone.

Officers dressed in full riot gear were about a building away from where the shooting began. Harris Jr. and his friends tried to sell the looted TV to a rival group in the area and then they exchanged 40 or 50 shots.

Four plain clothes detectives were parked nearby, they said Harris Jr. crossed the street away from the shootings, spots the flashing siren on top of the car, and then shoots several bullets towards the detectives, shooting through the car’s grill, hood and windshield. The detectives returned fire, and the suspect ran away and as they got out of the car, Harris turned around and fired at them again. The detectives led chase to Harris and he ran into a fenced area where they encountered him, he engaged in gunfire again at the four detectives and then one of the detectives made contact, shot him and he fell down. Officers recovered a stolen 9mm Sig Sauer on him.

Harris’s girlfriend and family are saying police got the wrong guy. How incredibly stupid would it be for detectives to shoot and kill an innocent young black man during the one year anniversary of Michael Brown! These detectives acted on their training and could have easily been shot themselves in this situation.

Even this young man’s girlfriend gave a witness testimony that matched the detectives story, and she still believed what happened to Harris Jr. was an injustice. This mentality is just incredibly stupid and the problem in our society right now. Main stream media and our own president want you to buy in to this idiotic lie, and incite race and police wars.

Surprise, surprise, this isn’t the first time Harris Jr. was in trouble for stealing a firearm, this past November he led police in a high speed chase in a stolen car, carrying a stolen gun. If you make the decision to loot, to carry a stolen firearm, and then shoot at trained police officers in their car? You must have a death wish, it is complete common sense to not make any of those decisions. Harris Jr. is another idiot thug who could not stop making bad decisions, he ended up having to be stopped.

What else is the problem? His father denies all evidence by saying, “My son’s fingerprints are not on that gun,” he said. “He was gunned down like a hog.” Many (including this sob story article from the Washington Post) are starting to paint him as an innocent young man who was trying to get his life together. Do any of Harris Jr’s actions, such as shooting at police, have anything to do with “trying to get his life together”?

If we keep encouraging and praising criminals like Michael Brown and Tyrone Harris Jr., we will have a war ahead of us. The behavior in Ferguson and the painting of these men to be “good young men who suffered injustices” will erode our justice system, country, and will continue to enable more criminals. Yes, black lives matter, but so do the lives of anyone with any color of skin. Thugs like these are completely asking for the consequences.

It’s insane to have an anniversary commenting a person who, assaulted and robbed a store owned (video), attacked a cop and tried to take his gun (forensic evidence). During the festivities (looting, robbing and killing) they continue to display the “hands up don’t shoot” narrative which has also been proven to be a lie started by Brown’s friend.
Where are we headed as a country? Sadly I think I know.
