Wife: Former CNN reporter shoots, kills armed robber at Westside motel

A former CNN investigative reporter shot and killed an armed robber in a motel on Albuquerque’s Westside late Tuesday, according to his wife.

Well this is good to hear, another defensive shooting in that land of he FREE and the home of the BRAVE! This is what we need more of, citizens who are not only armed, but trained, and ready to take action to defend themselves and their loved ones. This story could have had a horrible outcome if the people this thug attacked weren’t armed. The fact of the matter is that when this occurred the intruder made it into the hotel room, in most cases once the perpetrator has entered the room or residence there is a much greater chance the victims will be hurt or even killed.

We always hope to see the defensive gun use numbers on the rise and when the outcome of that defensive use is a positive outcome like this it makes us simply overjoyed. Please take the time to not only arm yourselves but also to seek proper training in self-defense, shooting, and gun safety. With the proper training you can be sure that you do not become another statistic.
