It is Mayor Rahm Emmanuel and Superintendent of police Gerry McCarthy who are attempting to stop, dissuade, cajole and even demand that Chicago citizens not arm themselves. If ANYONE in the City of Chicago needs to be armed it is the African-American community who needs to keep a Winchester rifle over every fireplace mantel, as well as a Colt Peacemaker strapped to everyone of their hips. (Especially as they walk their kids to school.) The arrogant , cavalier jerk mayor of Chicago tried to make the Illinois State Legislature exempt Chicago from our concealed carry law, but Chicago is not a fiefdom unto its’ self and this was NOT allowed, so you CAN carry concealed in Chicago.

In fact there was one blurb about an African-American former serviceman who had a legal concealed carry license & firearm who shot and stopped a gang member (with an illegal gun), from killing the women that were with him. It deserved more airplay than any station gave it, but the lamestream media somehow decided that an upright, honest former soldier defending life and limb somehow wasn’t very newsworthy. I’m not a former serviceman (I wish I was), but that doesn’t mean my life is any less worthy of self-defense if it ever needs it, and you can bet your bottom dollar I will defend it with every last ounce of breath & strength & Springfield XD .45 that I have to defend it with, thank you very much.
