Puppy steps on trigger and puts an end to this mans evil plan
Via Brandon at Concealed Nation
So apparently this man said he couldn’t find homes for these 3-month old german shepherd puppies so he decided to shoot them all in the head… First of all if you can afford a gun and bullets and much less anything else, you can afford to get your dog fixed to prevent puppies. Second off, there are plenty of other options to find a home for puppies, so what kind of lazy, sick man with no heart decides to just shoot puppies?!
I would love to say this puppy intentionally picked up the gun with his little paws and braced himself to shoot his cruel owner and prevent the further deaths of him and his siblings, but it looks like Karma and poor gun safety take the blame for this man being shot. And unfortunately we can’t teach puppies to shoot guns lol.
So he already kills three puppies, and he’s on his way to kill the rest when a puppy in his arms steps on the gun’s trigger he’s holding and discharges it, hitting him. He goes to the hospital to be treated and, of course, there had to be a report filed. He was later charged with felony animal cruelty after police were informed.
The puppies went on to become heroes and survivors, teaching other young dogs proper gun defense and handling– we wish.
PENSACOLA, FLORIDA — File this under one of those stories you can’t make up, and also put a big check mark next to the Karma box. *Please note that this story is from 2004, however we just came across it… so it’s new to us and worthy of a resurrection. 37-year-old Jerry Allen Bradford was treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound after being shot by one of the shepherd-mix puppies he was trying to kill.
Bradford was holding two puppies — one in his arms and another in his left hand — when the dog in his hand wiggled and put its paw on the trigger of the .38-caliber revolver. The gun then discharged, the sheriff’s report said. Police found three puppies in a shallow grave outside of Bradford’s home, and four other puppies were found unharmed.
But why was he trying to kill the puppies? Bradford said he decided to shoot the 3-month-old shepherd-mix dogs in the head because he couldn’t find them a home, according to the sheriff’s office. About a month after the incident, Bradford was finally charged with felony animal cruelty.
I can only hope that the surviving puppies continue to live happy lives in their new homes. As for Bradford, it is unknown what punishment was handed down.
