Consider the following- “You are walking to your favorite fishing spot and you see a big 320 lb man on top of and beating the snot out of a young 20 something 120 lb woman” what do you do, in that situation?

Answer- If you shot the man, You just shot an innocent man. You roll him off her and see a knife sticking out of his stomach that was embedded by the meth addicted woman who had snuck up on and started attacking the man who was just fishing himself, trying to rob him, he was defending himself and innocent she was the guilty party

Make sure you know all the details before acting, again this was the correct action for our good Samaritan, but we still have to remember this or it will become our downfall, because any and every negligent shooting adds fuel to the liberal anti-gun agenda.
