“I wouldn’t want to come into one of my facilities as a criminal,”
Where do I sign up?! This is D&C’s kind of ‘bonus’

Lance Toland doesn’t want his employees or his business to be victimized, so he’s requiring all of his employees carry firearms at all times.
And the Georgia businessman buys each of them a gun – a Taurus Judge – as soon as they receive their concealed carry license.
“Everybody has one of these in their drawer or on their person. I would not want to come into one of my facilities [as a criminal],” Toland said. “It’s a 5 shot .410, just like a shotgun, and you call it hand cannon.”
After hearing about a recent wave of home invasions and armed robberies near some of his offices, he decided it was time for the new mandate.
“They all had their conceal carry permit within 3 to 4 weeks of me announcing that this was something you had to do,: he said. “With the presentation of their license, they all got a .410 Judge pistol.”
Andrea Van Buren, an insurance agent for Toland’s aviation insurance business thinks it’s a great idea as long as employees agree to get certain things.
“As long as they are willing to get the training, become an expert and if you pull it out, you have to be ready to use it,” she said.
As for other business owners, Toland says the reaction has been universally positive.
“A lot of my clients are high fiving when they hear this. They think it’s the best things for a company to mandate gun ownership and be responsible,” he said.
This is how you protect your business and employees the right way.
This business owner understands that you have to refuse to become a victim, and by arming his employees he took the first step. We agree 100% and might send this story to our boss as *cough* “inspiration”.
