Deputies: Man Hacked to Death With Machete in Home Invasion

The North Charleston Police reported that 3 men entered the home and began stabbing the man who lived in the home with knives and a machete. The fight continued out into the yard, police found the man, Raphael Alverez dead outside the home. At this time two of the men, Jose and Jesus Arizmendi have been caught and the third man, Carlos Urgell-Perez is still at large.

Criminals will kill people until we figure out a way to actually deter the THUG mentality from the onset. The thought of these men attacking Alverez with knives and a machete is a disturbing thought and I am not quite sure how we have gotten to a place where this behavior has become so common but we have.

To turn this around we need to start thinking about solutions that will actually be deterrents for the career criminals of the world. Much like Gun Laws for Criminals which lays out a plan to actually keeps that THUG mentality in check from an early age because once you have even heard of a person having to pay such a significant price for criminal behavior you would want no part of that lifestyle. So versions of these very severe punishments should be written for all types of violent crimes.

We hear the never ending cry for more gun control and realistically all that any more gun control can do is promise to increase crimes of this nature, people who are intent on killing other people are going to do so with guns, with knives, with machetes, with hammers, with anything and everything you can think of. What gun control insures is that when the THUGS do come to your door with weapons of any sort you will have no valid way to defend yourself.
