Man delivering pizzas doesn’t take any chances when confronted by two armed robbers
Delivering pizzas for Domino’s is definitely not the safest job out there. Since 2012 at least 8 drivers have been shot, 3 killed, and one raped while on deliveries, not to mention those that were robbed…
This delivery driver in Jacksonville, Florida wasn’t going to take chances on the job, so he armed himself.
Just like you would carry a first aid kit, spare tire kit in your car, or have a fire extinguisher nearby, this delivery man was carrying for emergencies like this.
Action News Jax reported that this Domino’s delivery driver was doing his job when two armed men approached him and he instead pulled out his gun and shot one of the robbers, and the other one fled.
I just am curious if the pizzas were hurt or damaged in the process! LOL
The robber that was shot is in serious condition, and there is no word on whether the other robber was located.
We know that the pizza delivery man was in his rights to defend himself, as the ongoing investigation is completely necessary but always seems lame in situations like this, but the question is what is Domino’s doing about this?
We know in the past Breitbart reported the company placing a delivery driver on payed leave after a very similar defensive situation, even though violence against their delivery employees is common. The company has a no-gun policy but that obviously is in need of a change.
In the meantime I will not be buying pizza from Dominos anymore, and will be telling others about their policies. Their ignorance has caused death where it could have been prevented, because when you ban guns from innocent citizens, they will ultimately be the ones who suffer.
