Within a few hours of the July 23 shooting at Lafayette’s Grand Theatre, Shannon Watts took to Twitter to repudiate those who have tried to discourage her from immediately seizing on tragedy to promote gun control and made clear she remains dedicated to doing so regardless.

This woman took a brief break from corporate America only to give life to this alter ego she is now trying to use to take each every gun right we have away. It seems as though Bloomberg and Obama have been grooming her into this position for years, and looking back on the 2008 Obama campaign she made 7 sizable donations to that campaign.
These tactics of using someone like this who is so versed in public relations and defending the lies of big corporations but claims to be nothing more than a mere housewife is beyond repulsive. The truth of the matter is that she was one of the big voices defending Monsanto against labeling their poisonous foods and the genetic engineering of foods with no regulation. In all honesty she may be responsible for killing more people with these chemicals than the guns she so fervently attacks.
These are the types of chemicals Shannon is used to defending not which cooking spray is better to bake your chocolate chip cookies with. So let’s jump to this most recent shooting. Shannon has now hit the twitter waves with an attack on Bobby Jindal in the following fashion:
For example, as soon as news of the 911 call regarding the attack came to his attention,Jindal tweeted: “Prayers for [those in] Lafayette at Grand Theater. Talking to state police colonel about shooting in Lafayette.”
Watts responded: “Bobby Jindal: We need more than prayers: we need lawmakers to stand up to NRA so we don’t have to stand up to gunmen.” She sent another tweet that highlighted comments Jindal had made in June about “hugging” victims’ families and “praying” for victims’ families and mocked Jindal for refusing to politicize Lafayette.
It is high time we as Americans call this lying, cheating, manipulative, behavior to the surface. We know this position as founder of Moms Demand Action Against Gun Violence was not the creation of Suzzie miss homemaker but rather the work of none other than Michael Bloomberg himself and we are due to demand action against all of the lies and mistruths spread on their behalf.
