Suspect Shot and Killed from Police Helicopter After Chase on Freeway

Sheriff’s Deputy Sniper Saved Lives by Stopping this Criminal

sheriff sniper shot killed fleeing felon

Sheriff’s sniper saves the day when this Fontana home invasion suspect decided to lead police on high speed chase going the wrong direction on the 215 freeway. The suspect bailed from the vehicle while it was still moving which gave the sniper the opportunity to shoot. With the suspect fleeing there is question as to the validity of using deadly force.

iron cladLooking at the recent action of the suspect I think it is safe to say that the deputy was acting within the law as there is little doubt that had he lived he there would be countless others in immediate danger. Criminals seem to be getting bolder and bolder as time goes on and I think any opportunity to get a nut like this off of the street is absolutely a good one.

– A sheriff’s deputy sharp shooter in a helicopter shot and killed a suspect on the 215 Freeway in Devore, in San Bernardino County. The suspect was wanted in connection with a home invasion in Fontana, then led police on a high-speed pursuit and ended up on the freeway going the wrong way.

The suspect bailed out of his car while it was still moving, and that’s when the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy in the helicopter shot and killed him.  The suspect’s car crashed into another car.

Three people were transported to the hospital.

All northbound lanes of the 215 Freeway near the Devore exit are closed while police conduct the investigation.

I believe in capitol punishment but not at the hands of law enforcement while fleeing on foot.
If he was an imminent threat to someone on the ground when he bailed out of the car I support the shooting but I saw nowhere in this article that was the case.

Street justice is not a good thing.

The Deputy did good. One more scumbag off the street and out of the gene pool.
