Sheriff’s Deputy Sniper Saved Lives by Stopping this Criminal
Sheriff’s sniper saves the day when this Fontana home invasion suspect decided to lead police on high speed chase going the wrong direction on the 215 freeway. The suspect bailed from the vehicle while it was still moving which gave the sniper the opportunity to shoot. With the suspect fleeing there is question as to the validity of using deadly force.
Looking at the recent action of the suspect I think it is safe to say that the deputy was acting within the law as there is little doubt that had he lived he there would be countless others in immediate danger. Criminals seem to be getting bolder and bolder as time goes on and I think any opportunity to get a nut like this off of the street is absolutely a good one.
