With the new proposal published on June 3, the State Department claims to be “clarifying” the rules concerning “technical data” posted online or otherwise “released” into the “public domain.” To the contrary, however, the proposal would institute a massive new prior restraint on free speech. This is because all such releases would require the “authorization” of the government before they occurred. The cumbersome and time-consuming process of obtaining such authorizations, moreover, would make online communication about certain technical aspects of firearms and ammunition essentially impossible.

America, we need to be vigilant at every step along the way as we pass through the final throws of this presidential nightmare. Obama and his cronies intend to disarm the American people, and we are the only thing that stands in their way. We cannot let our guard down as they’ve always got new tricks up their sleeve.
As we see new legislation proposed to us, we need to remember to review these potential laws and see what is truly being presented. We need to read between the lines, as there is an agenda to disarm the American people.
Our right to bear arms is under attack by those who were meant to protect our rights, our freedoms, and our way of life. These seemingly unrelated topics are at the heart of the matter as they can potentially cripple an entire industry with bureaucracy.
It is becoming clear to everyone (including the left-wing crowd) that our current leader and his administration have about the same level of regard to our Constitution as a roll of toilet paper. This abuse of our rights must stop. I hate to say it people, but we are the ones to stop this. If we silently stand by and watch this atrocity unfold, we will be sitting here with our heads in our hands and nothing more than a stick to wave at the illegally armed criminals who attempt to take away our way of life.
This being said, please take some time and follow the links below. Make the appropriate requests to your representatives and, most importantly, do not take no for an answer. These officials are our elected officials; they work for us. They need to hear us and act on our behalf.

Time is of the essence! Public comment will be accepted on the proposed gag order until August 3, 2015. Comments may be submitted online at regulations.gov or via e-mail at DDTCPublicComments@state.gov with the subject line, ‘‘ITAR Amendment—Revisions to Definitions; Data Transmission and Storage.’’
