Megyn Kelly: The Confederate Flag Needs To Be Raised, Not Lowered

The Confederate Flag Needs To Be Raised, Not Lowered

Via Megyn Kelly

Ladies and gentlemen, I submit that what we see happening in the United States today is an apt illustration of why the Confederate flag was raised in the first place. What we see materializing before our very eyes is tyranny: tyranny over the freedom of expression, tyranny over the freedom of association, tyranny over the freedom of speech, and tyranny over the freedom of conscience.

Megyn Kelly is absolutely my hero for jumping into this fight, there has been absolute chaos surrounding the Confederate Flag since the shooting in Charleston. The chaos has all centered around racism, which I would like to take this opportunity to state that we do need to do anything and everything we can do to eliminate racism from our day to day lives and our society as a whole. After reading Megyn’s article and researching the topic of the flag itself I am more clear than I have ever been that the Confederate Flag is not and has never been a symbol of racism, unfortunately racism is just a fact, a part of our history as Americans, something a flag will not change. What we should be focused on is not making it part of our future.

When you look at the Charleston shooting it is quite clear that our current administration wanted to capitalize on all of the racial hate that they could in the wake of the horrific tragedy. The problem was that the people of the church did not want any more hate to be spread as a result of the shooting and rather professed their forgiveness towards the shooter and his actions. I would imagine that our fearless leader was absolutely appalled by this considering he had plans for all that hate. So immediately the dialog switches to the flag and with an all out attack once again on our civil liberties.

confederate flag vs gay flagHere’s another flag that others may find offensive and so why not launch an all out attack on it? I will tell you why, because the people who want to fly this flag or that flag, or believe in this particular faith or the next have that RIGHT, we all have those RIGHTS. We cannot fight day in and day out for our Second Amendment rights to be upheld and not infringed upon, while at the same time denying someone else their freedom of speech or expression.

While we all may be different, have different beliefs, worship or take pride in different symbols, we are all Americans which insures these rights be upheld and respected not only by our leaders but by each other. Obama has a mission to tear apart The Bill Of Rights and it doesn’t matter if it is The First Amendment, or The Second Amendment, it’s not about any part of our foundation, it is the whole of our freedom that these liberals want to destroy. They want hate and all of this killing of ourselves because that is motive to spew out through their massive media channels to push the disarming agenda.

Now we have campaigns launched on social media using ‪#‎noFlagginchallenge‬ in which this young man Jamari Williams challenges people to steal and destroy Confederate Flags from other people’s private property. We have had shots fired at a rally that was backing Marion County Florida’s decision to continue to fly the flag. I saw video of a white couple with a Confederate Flag being beat up by several black men, isn’t that a hate crime? Al Sharpton’s  National Action Hate Group launching an attack on Kid Rock through GM, I mean come on people.

The point is, we are missing the point, you can’t ask one person or group of people to give up their beliefs and their rights unless you are willing to do the same. When you are willing to give up every little thing that anyone could ever find annoying or offensive then you can start asking others to do the same and I am sorry to say this goes for each and every one of us.
