Is Barack Obama correct that mass killings don’t happen in other countries?

An important point to make right off the bat is that many of the critics have pointed to the first part of Obama’s claim — that “this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.” As we’ll explain, the critics have a point here — mass violence, including mass shootings, happen in a wide variety of countries.

So it is sad to say but our “fearless leader” is up to no good once more, thoughtlessly spewing his mistruths right at the moment when our country needs him to be honest more than ever. If you take a moment to review the facts America is not the only place where atrocities like this happen but that’s not what the current administration and what seems like the entire Democratic Party would have you believe.

In truth (according to the data shared Via Schildkraut and Elsass in the above referenced article) America is not at the top of the list, in fact we didn’t even make the top three. Coming in in the bloody first place; Norway, followed by Finland in second place, and Switzerland in third. These are VERY developed countries and this data was acquired between 2000-2014 so the sample is more than adequate in demonstrating the level of mistruth that is being delivered to the American people.

There is an agenda here people, and that agenda is to take your weapons from you. You may be asking WHY? but the answer to that question is very easy for us to get to if we just take an honest look at our history. We The People of this great land are FREE, we’ve had the concept of freedom and the belief that this freedom ‘belongs’ to us indoctrinated in us for our entire lives, therefore we OWN it. When you have such a strong sense of value and ownership tied to a concept so real and so strong as freedom itself people will fight for it to insure that it is here for generations to come. And fight is what we’ve done and will continue to do until the end of time to uphold this fundamental  and integral right.

Now take a look at the people and organizations that would strip these rights from us and be honest with ourselves, the Constitution of our great land has become nothing more that a nuisance to them. So when we look at the big picture here we see a country full of people who would not only gladly fight but die to protect these rights and an administration who would just as soon dispose of them all while turning America into another socialist country. So what is the best thing for them to do? Disarm America! This is the agenda behind “gun control” and it because in the eyes of many of the ‘powers that be’ our rights have expired, they’ve become a major inconvenience and so it is time to do away with them and there is no way that is going to happen with our citizens armed the way they are.

But let’s be clear:  At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.  It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency.  And it is in our power to do something about it.  I say that recognizing the politics in this town foreclose a lot of those avenues right now.  But it would be wrong for us not to acknowledge it.  And at some point it’s going to be important for the American people to come to grips with it, and for us to be able to shift how we think about the issue of gun violence collectively.

Aside from the mistruths presented as to mass shootings around the world we are being fed a pack of lies as to the facts surrounding this particular shooting as well. According to this VERY CLEAR accounting from the uncle of the perpetrator of this heinous crime he was given a .45 caliber handgun by his father for his birthday in April. This fact is one that is already in the process of being twisted to fit the agenda of the gun control advocates because the facts just don’t support the idea that gun control of any kind could have prevented this crime.

In closing, do I wish we could prevent these sorts of crimes? Absolutely, but making The American People unarmed sitting ducks for the criminals who will never give up their guns is not the answer.
