4 Marines killed in attacks on Chattanooga military facilities
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A gunman unleashed a barrage of gunfire at two military facilities Thursday in Tennessee, killing at least four Marines and wounding a soldier and a police officer, officials told CBS News.
It is horrific to say but “here we are again” another spineless criminal targets yet another gun free zone. Today’s attack is being called an act of domestic terrorism and it has left 4 Marines dead and several others wounded. These gun free zones are the places that cowards focus on as they face very little chance of armed resistance and return fire. I hope that military recruiting centers are not gun free zones for long.
This shooter didn’t even enter the recruiting center but rather fired several magazines of ammunition through the front door, this is how I define “coward”. Everything this shooter did screamed “coward” and the absolutely horrific part is that the marines he killed were the opposite of “coward”, killed in a senseless, spineless, manner.
“Lives have been lost from some faithful people who have been serving our country, and I think I join all Tennesseans in being both sickened and saddened by this,” Gov. Bill Haslam said.
The governor has it right here folks; “faithful people” and they died while serving our country and this is something that we should be sure we take all the steps we can take to prevent in the future.
