Most Americans Select “Guns as the solution, not the problem” on recent national poll

Americans should be allowed to bring guns into movie theaters — and everywhere else — to prevent such crime.

It’s an echo of a familiar theme from NRA head Wayne LaPierre. “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun,” LaPierre said frequently amid the more recent gun-control debate.

And most Americans agree with this logic, according to a 2014 Pew Research Poll.  Since the 2012 Newtown, Conn., massacre of 26 people, including 20 school children, the poll found a nine-point rise in the number of Americans who think gun ownership could “protect people from becoming victims of crime.”

Despite an increase of left-wing lobbying after tragic mass shootings and gun crimes, polls show more people than ever in the past two decades want gun rights rather than gun control.

Americans understand mass shootings are incredibly complicated and uncontrollable at times. If anything has been proven in these past tragedies, crazy people and criminals will always have a way to access guns. There has been a growing brightness in America from lightbulbs turning on over more and more heads on the individual’s right to the Second Amendment

A lot of people are realizing, you can’t keep the gun out of the hands of someone with a horrific agenda, but you can put the guns in the hands of people willing to stop them. Mass and random shootings do seem to be occurring more often, shooters look at people who commit heinous acts and are made infamous in history and the media, and channel themselves into the same infamy. Mental illness is to blame all too often also. What can help us prevent these shootings?

(Pew Research Survey)The media has done nothing but show the gun control side of this debate, when in reality Americans believe in self defense with guns more than ever. Since Newtown we have seen a relentless push for the removal of guns, and mainstream media refuses to touch many examples of defensive gun use that happen every day. We are aware, but the typical American has to dig to find them.

There have been so many cases where defensive gun use is not reported because the crime was deterred and thus not reported.

Reading this should make you breath a little easier, we are still in a war but not in any immediate danger of having our rights taken away, and the second they are we can pull another stunt like the thousands in Washington state that nullified the draconian i594.

As much as Obama and his administration have strained and labored until their hair turned grey and options trickled to a drip, America is still free.

Really it comes down to two choices, our right to guns as protection from criminals and possibly tyranny, or giving up our guns for “peace” and the “cessation of murder and crime.” —-LOL!

Even though many may say tyranny is not a valid argument and is extreme in America, we should NEVER let anyone infringe on the continued right to protect ourselves from the possibility.

That tendency towards bloody tyranny by government against their own citizens put 262,000,000 to death in the 20th century alone, a practice now reviled as democide. The Second Amendment is our democide insurance.

We’ve seen what happens in gun-free-zones: “92% of mass shootings reported from 2009 to ’14 were reported in gun-free zones.”

What I would love to see is for these anti-gun leaders like Gates, Bloomberg, Shannon Watts, and so many others to stand up and represent their beliefs! Lets see what happens when they get rid of their armed body guards and guns and be an example to us on how it causes peace and ensures safety.

Continue to stand up and show your friends and family the every day proof of defensive gun use. Continue to carry, keep yourself and your family safe, and prevent the victimization of people in the future. Lets make a positive statistic, those saved by gun toting citizens like yourself.
